  • Wild bites: As this workshop is the mini you will get the chance to try a snack and a drink utilising foraged ingredients. 

  • Best of the season: each mini course will focus on the local highlights at the time so no two are the same!

Westerton Farm: Pick Your Own Pumpkins 2024

Join us between 11-31 Oct to hand-pick the perfect pumpkin grown right here at Westerton Farm. Eat, play and shop whilst you're with us too!

Our hugely popular autumnal event returns for its sixth year. Beat the bale maze, conquer the bale mountain and if you want to stay and play, we’ll have a barn full of fun with areas for under 4s and 5s and older.

With an outdoor play area, goats and alpacas to see and food and drinks in our cosy farm shop and barn – Westerton is the perfect destination for a fun-filled pumpkin experience this October.

End of Summer Garden Party @ The Taybank

Join the Taybank team on Saturday, September 28th, for a last hurrah in their gardens before they close for the year.

They’ll have music throughout the day and evening from @theoutskirts, @djtrendywendy, and friends, street food and drinks, garden games, face painting, and cosy campfire areas.

The party is free and open to all from 12-10pm!

Provenance Festival 2024: Fieldfare CSA

Fieldfare CSA is set in the Walled Garden of Balmakewan Farm. We grow organically produced vegetables, fruits and herbs which are available via a seasonal subscription.

This event is in the form of an open garden, you are welcome to walk around a working walled garden, see how we grow our produce, speak to the farmers growing the food and see a way of food production that is sustainable and regenerative for both the land and local community.

Provenance Festival 2024: Fruit and Harvest Festival at the Mill of Benholm

The celebration of fruits, vegetables and harvest at the historic watermill Mill of Benholm, with produce from our own heritage orchard and community garden, together with local stalls and foods.

There will also be plenty of activities around nature, farming and milling heritage, including tours of the Mill.

Align Wellness has collaborated with the team at Haddo House to offer a wonderful outdoor yoga experience in the terrace garden.

What to expect:

Hatha Slow Flow Yoga

The perfect combination of a mind and body movement-based practice. This class will be a gentle, meditative pace, including traditional sun salutations and hatha yoga poses, which will be held longer, emphasising peace and calm as we enjoy practising in the beauty of the Haddo House terrace garden. You will be guided through this practice with breathwork, allowing you to connect with your breath with each intentional slow-flow movement.
