A Conscious Market @ The Barn at Barra Castle

The first event of 2022. What a way to kick start our year of events! The weather was kind to us this time around and the power remained on throughout!

We decided to do things a little differently this time. We were fortunate enough to have 43 small businesses join us this and some of these were situated in the foyer. These businesses were kind enough to put on some wonderful mindful and creative activities for everyone to enjoy. Avec Amour Flowers ran a flower bar, Yogi Oils offered hand massages and mini-readings. Picky Pencil offered drawing sessions and Candy Coated Accessories grabbed the children's attention with her eco DIY kits! Red Kite Reiki was back too with her very popular tarot readings.

Through in the cosy snug, we hosted two workshops. ‘Your Nature : A Yoga workshop’ which was held by the wonderful Rona Yoga and ‘Finding Balance, Cultivating Peace : A Coaching Workshop’ held by the fantastic Laura Soul Coach.

In the main hall you’d find all our other small businesses who are always hand selected and carefully curated. We had lots of our usual members joining us as well as a few new businesses which is always nice to have. They have been welcomed into the Conscious Market family and I’m sure we will have many more events together in the future.

Coastal Pizzas joined us outside with a vegan and vegetarian menu, just for us. Their pizzas are by the far, the best we’ve had so I am personally hoping they will become a regular at our events!

As always, our customers came and really made the day what it was. Not only are our stallholders, the most wonderful bunch of people but our customers are too! It is so lovely to see our regulars back time and time again and equally as lovely to see lots of new faces too! I hope everyone enjoyed the day whether it was to take part in the workshops or just to have a nosey around, you are all welcome and we thank you so much for continuing to support us.
