@ Whitekirk Hill Snug & Studio

Herbalism and Yin Yoga are perfect complements: both work intrinsically with the Seasons to support body/mind health and well-being.

In Yin Yoga, the Winter season focuses on the Water element, the colour blue, and the Kidney and Bladder meridians. Weaving together practices, techniques, remedies, and reflections, we will show you some ways you can slow down and support the mind and body during this Yin time of year.

We are excited to offer this 2- hour workshop at Winter Solstice, the perfect time of year to put some energy into your reserves through the nourishment of Yin postures and Herb-craft.

  • Welcome, and centre, with a warming cup of seasonal herbal tea,

  • A gentle Flow Yoga practice to restore and nourish your inner-wellbeing,

  • Make an aromatherapy remedy, a touchstone for connection this season,

  • Make a 'Deep Heat' muscle and joints rub, warming organs and peripheries,

  • Go forward with a Winter Solstice intention, inspired by the plants and the rhythm of nature,

  • A nourishing and relaxing Yin Yoga practice,

  • Notes on the Yin Yoga and Herbalism practices and learnings will be provided,

  • Take home a bespoke Winter Wellness card, for you to carry forward through the Winter season.

You can expect a warm welcome and a friendly, inclusive group. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners - you don't need to have any background in Yoga or Herbalism.

This workshop event will be limited to 12 participants visit The Honeybee Sanctuary website to book
