Come celebrate Imbolc, the old Scottish New Year's Day, outdoors with Anna of WanderWomen and Judith of Edinburgh Forage and Eat.
“After a seasonal wild welcome drink and nibble, Judith will take you on a leisurely two-hour foraging walk through the woods, grassland and dunes, down to the beach to learn about and forage around thirty species of edible plants, seaweeds, and fungi and to gather wild grasses and aromatic herbs to make our St Brigit crosses.
Anna of Wander Women will lead the group for the next ninety minutes in forest bathing, wildcrafting, and intention setting for a meaningful St Bridgit's Day ritual. Traditional activities like dooking, fire leaping, and drumming/chanting/dancing are options to enhance the experience.
Next, we will build a fire, and Judith will prepare you an exciting Candlemass Feast of foraged flavours integrated into traditional Imbolc/St Bridgit's day dishes, which will be served with various beverages.”
